Duane Nielson Obituary Nielsen, Duane, of Loretto, born April 16, 1925 and died on February 22, 2012. Survived by wife, Mae; children, Susan, Steve (Sandy), Stan and Scott Nielsen; granddaughters, Michelle, TIna, Jennifer and Kaitlyn; 6 great grandchildren. Graduated from St Olaf College in 1948 and was a veteran of WWII in the Army.SERVICE HAS BEEN CANCELLED due to predicted inclement weather. The family will have a private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
