Benson, Earl C. Loving Husband Father and Grandfather. Age 93 of Deephaven, died on January 19, 2007. Received the Bronze Star during WWII. 42 year employee at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. Survived by wife, Thelma of 64 years; sons, Jim and wife Ann, Bob and wife Gwen; daughter, Debbie Benson; grandchildren, Jill, Adam, Ashley, Brittany, Katie, Lynsay, Megan, Peter and Elizabeth; other loving relatives and friends. Memorial Service 2 pm Wednesday at Wayzata Community Church (125 E Wayzata Blvd). Interment Hillside Cemetery Minneapolis. David Lee Funeral Home Wayzata 952-473-5577
