Edna Lund Obituary Lund, Edna Helene Age 80, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 9. Edna was beloved within her communities as a natural organizer, coordinating countless school, community and scouting functions; she became an expert house-mover after 18 address changes with Glenn. She was a life-long bookkeeper, starting at age 5; she was the offering organizer at Minnetonka Lutheran for 34 years. She was fond of bridge and cards, classical & marching music, was an avid Vikings fan, and deeply loved her dogs. Edna loved house decorations that changed with the seasons; her Christmas dcor and table were beloved traditions. She cherished her personal connections, and adored being a wife, mother, aunt, friend, and grandmother. Preceded in death by parents Franklin Moses and Myrtle Agnes Hailey; sisters Grace, Violet, Margaret; brothers, Gene, Roger, Bill, Johnny. Survived by husband Glenn; sister, Etta; brother, Lloyd; sons, Mark (Jennifer) and David (Linda); granddaughters, Alyssa (Tyler) and Kaelie; numerous nieces & nephews and extended family members. Memorial service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 16, 2016, with visitation 1 hour prior, and coffee and sweets to follow, at Minnetonka Lutheran Church, 16023 Minnetonka Blvd, Minnetonka, 55345. Attendees encouraged to wear splashes of red in honor of Ednas love of cardinals. Interment at Fort Snelling at a later date. Memorials to Minneapolis Chapter of the American Diabetes Association.
