Edward Pasicznyk Obituary Pasicznyk, Edward M. passed away on May 20, 2023, at 79. Eddie fought bravely against a massive brain tumor for 24+ years and met each challenge without complaint. He was born on October 20, 1943, in Minneapolis and raised by his beloved grandmother, Martha Shire. He served with pride in the US Army in the 101st Airborne from 1965 to 1967. Ed was a longtime resident of the Lake Minnetonka area. He loved the beach, a great restaurant, all dogs, a good joke, and watching his wife and two daughters do almost anything, often providing a standing ovation. Survived by his wife Julie of 47 years, and daughters Dena (Josh) Rasmussen, Amanda Pasicznyk (Matt Birkholz) and three grandchildren, Jensen and Boden Rasmussen and Walter Edward Birkholz. A military funeral service will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450) on Thursday June 22 from 9-9:15 a.m. Please enter the cemetery from Gate 2 and proceed to Assembly Area #2 by 8:45 AM.
