Edward Vukelich Obituary Vukelich, Edward J. age 79, went peacefully to the Lord on March 1, 2007 with the love and prayers of his family at his side. Preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Mary Vukelich. Ed is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Mary Ann and children, Bruce (Sue), Mary Jo (Tom) Baatz, Judy (Ed) Cannon, Steve (Lori); grandchildren Jenny (Ed) Adkisson, Allison, Christine, Matt, Katie, Maddie, Liz, Hannah, Laura, Molly, Meredith and great-grandson, Nolan. He is also survived by his brothers, Nick and Mark (Ruth) and sister, Mary Ann (Bill) Sullivan and many other relatives and friends. Ed was born and raised in Gilbert, MN. He was a US Navy veteran and a retired high school teacher at Columbia Heights for 39 years. He was also an avid outdoorsman. Mass will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church (155 County Road 24, Medina) on Thursday, March 8 at 1 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service at church.
