Eleanor Norton Obituary ELEANOR ELAINE (JOHNSON) NORTON Age 91 of Minnetonka, passed away on July 12, 2023. Preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband and oldest son Michael. Married to her late husband Robert 'Bob' for 66 years. Wife, homemaker and wonderful mother of four. Holiday's always involved her Norwegian/ Scandinavian heritage by making Lefse, Krumkake and Lutefisk. Loved bowling, sewing, reading, playing cards, gardening, painting and the color blue. Bob and her spent their retirement years traveling, reading, and working on puzzles. Enjoyed their summers at the lake, winters in Florida and Arizona. Her greatest joy was being with her family. Survived by her children; daughter in law Bridget Norton, Tina (Kevin) Pashina, Tom (Julie) Norton, and Lavena Wilhelm (Jonathan Smith). Grandchildren; Stephanie (Ryan) Olson, Christopher (Anita) Norton, Ray (Tori) Norton, David (Kayla) Pashina, Erin Pashina, Matthew (Sarah) Norton, Katherine Norton, Tyler (Brienna) Wilhelm, Sara (Dustin) Foth. And great-grandchildren; Savannah (Brian) Rajchel, Morgan Olson, Rocco Olson, Graham Norton, Waylin Norton, Evan Pashina, Isabela Norton, Evie Wilhelm and Indy Wilhelm. She was born February 10, 1932 in the town of Clitherall, in Ottertail County, MN. She was the youngest of 5 children and enjoyed being the baby of the family. She leaves behind a large extended family and many friends who loved her. She was a kind-hearted soul, always supportive and will be greatly missed. Memorial service and celebration of life on Tuesday, July 25th at the David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 Wayzata Blvd. Wayzata, MN 55391. Visitation at 11 am and service at 12pm. Lunch to follow. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Arboretum of MN or donor's charity of choice. Private interment at Fort Snelling, at a later date.
