Elizabeth Docherty Obituary Docherty, Elizabeth J. Betty (Lavery) Age 78 of Wayzata , MN lost her courageous battle with cancer on April 20, 2015. Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas & Jeanie Lavery . Survived by her loving family; husband of 58 years, Peter; son, P. Brendon Docherty (Linda); daughters, Jeanie Seehof and Susan Robertson (Jeff) and her 7 grandchildren, Erin, Andrew, Cole, Chase, Brittany, Pierce and Holden. Betty loved life and lived it to the fullest. She enjoyed tennis, skiing, traveling the world with Peter, cooking and entertaining and spending time with her family and friends. Betty will be missed by all whose lives she touched and the many friends she cherished. A special thank you to Jeanne Holm and Bob Bass for being at her side throughout this journey, and to the nurses and doctors at Methodist who treated her with love, compassion and kindness in her last few weeks on earth.
