Elizabeth Ellwein Obituary Ellwein, Elizabeth Leavitt, age 57, of Wayzata, passed away on March 25, 2010. Beth was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jo Leavitt. She is survived by her husband, Mike, son, Andy, and Mikes children, Amy (husband Tim Wawrzyniec) and Patrick (wife Rachel), and her father, Dennis Leavitt, sister, Catherine Olson (husband Jim), and brothers, Dan (wife Patty) and Jeff (wife Colleen).Beth graduated from the University of Minnesota. She was an avid cook, art collector, and traveler who lived life to its fullest. Pursuing a Masters degree in Art History at the University of St. Thomas was her passion. She was a leader in Art Adventure for Blake Elementary School and a docent for the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday March 31st at Wayzata Community Church, 125 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata, MN followed by a light lunch and gathering at the Lafayette Country Club.
