Elizabeth Pagel Obituary Pagel, Elizabeth Kay age 78 of Minnetonka died October 13, 2023 surrounded by her children. Betty grew up in Cannon Falls, Minnesota, where she met and married on June 23rd, 1967 the love of her life, Glen, who was from the other side of town. She graduated from National College of Education in Evanston, Illinois, and then taught 1st grade for three years in both Minnesota and California. She continued her teaching in a family setting for decades, raising four children. She was dedicated to teaching, helping, and serving others in such a caring and compassionate way. In addition to being a wonderful mom, wife, and friend to so many people, her interests included gardening, baking, playing the piano, shopping, traveling, boating on Lake Minnetonka, and most of all, spending time with her eight amazing grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Glen; daughter, Kelly; parents, Donald and Marian Mensing and brother-in-law, Dwight. Survived by her children, Jennifer Koppy, Scott Pagel (Alison) and Tracey Klocksien (Ryan); grandchildren, Matthew and Kayla Koppy, Gabriella, Damian and Dominic Pagel, Kellie, Ollie and Owen Klocksien; siblings Dick Mensing (Martha), Barbara Hoffman, Tom Mensing (Brenda), Mary Link (Ken) and Kathy Mensing. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 23, 2023 at the Church of St. Pius V, 410 Colvill Street West, Cannon Falls, Minnesota. Visitation one hour prior to Mass at church. Interment Cannon Falls City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Alzheimers Association.
