Elizabeth Pillsbury Obituary
Pillsbury, Elizabeth Anne (Massie) Betty Anne (BA) was born in Minneapolis on January 20, 1923. BA died peacefully of cancer on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at the age of 83. She attended Northrup School and graduated from Washburn High School, and then went on to attend Erskine College in Boston, Massachusetts. BA enjoyed spending time with her family as well as spending time tending to her many beautiful gardens. She also had an affinity for Lake Minnetonka which she often referred to as Her Ocean"". Betty Anne was a member of Lafayette Country Club where she first met her husband. She was active in Junior League of Minneapolis, and was also a long-time volunteer at the Minnesota Zoo and the Humane Society. Betty Anne was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Robert. She is survived by her sons, Robert Jr. and his wife Tody of Wayzata, Charles and wife Linda of Lake Forest, California; daughter, Sandra and her husband David Gredzens of Castle Danger, Minnesota. She will be deeply missed by her four grandchildren, Brent Pillsbury (Celeste), Michelle Pillsbury Krugh (Chuck), Robert K. Pillsbury III (Renee), and Phillip L. Pillsbury (Krista). Betty Anne was also proud and fond of her 9 great grandchildren. Memorial service Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 12:00 pm at St. Martin's by-the-Lake Episcopal Church in Minnetonka Beach. Private Interment at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to either St. Martin's by-the-Lake Church (2801 Westwood Road, P.O.
