Elizabeth 'Betty' Wheeler Obituary Wheeler (Arnold), Betty J. Age 94, of Mpls., passed away December 16, 2018. Preceded in death by siblings, Dick, Rosemary, and Jackie; daughter, Jeanne; husband, John E. Arnold Sr, and husband Edwin Wheeler. Betty and her 6 siblings grew up in Northeast Minneapolis. She joined the U.S. Cadet Nursing Corps during WWII and spent most of her nursing career at Colonial Acres in Golden Valley. She and John Sr. raised their family in Golden Valley, and after his passing, her life was further brightened by Ed with whom she enjoyed a full and happy retirement. Betty was woman of great inner strength and care and love shown to others. She had a joy for life that will carry on in those she leaves behind. Survived by sons, John (Barb), Steven, and Jim (Chris); grandchildren, Elizabeth and Gregory and siblings Ray, Larry, and Lucile.
