Elsie Lekander Obituary Lekander, Elsie B. age 89 of Maple Grove died May 16, 2015. Preceded in death by husband Vern and sister, Mildred Peterson. Survived by children, Mark, Dr. Julie Haak and husband Daniel, and Susan Gronseth; grandchildren, Anna Lekander and husband Nate Dando, Laura Weller and husband Brian, Sarah, Jennie and Matthew Haak, Lisa and husband Dr. Cullen Goenner; sisters, Lila Johnson, Inez Johnson and Elma Aho; brothers-in-law, Arnie Sikkila and John Lekander and wife Shirley; sisters-in-law, Dolores Obinger and Verna Fischer as well as other loving relatives and friends. Funeral service 10:30 AM Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Maple Grove Lutheran Church, 9251 Elm Creek Boulevard, Maple Grove, with visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
