Emil Fangmann Obituary Fangmann, Emil Jim John Henry Jr. age 79, of Minnetonka, died June 9, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil C. Fangmann and Hilda M. Tauke. He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry; son, Timothy and wife Janet; former wife, Betty and their children, Nancy Ladehoff and husband Del, Mark, Susan Bierderman, Jeannie Sloan, Diane Bebee, David, Jackie Fangmann, and Jill Phillips and husband Shawn; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, William and wife Iona and Dale and wife Marlene. Jim was born October 26, 1928 in Dubuque, Iowa and graduated from St. Ambrose Academy in Davenport. He retired from Nash Finch Company after 47 years as the Director of Procurement. Jim enjoyed his family and his many friends across the country, as well as golfing, fishing, youth coaching, traveling, fine dining, hunting, politics and his dogs, Thumper and Randy.
