Obituary

Esther Wendorf Obituary Esther Marion Wendorf Esther Marion Wendorf went home to be with the Lord and her parents, Rose and George Mischel and her seven siblings, one of which was her twin brother, Benedict. Esther was a long-time resident of Wayzata, MN and a parishioner at St Bartholomew Catholic Parish for over 30 years. She was born July 18, 1931 in Dickinson, North Dakota and achieved ninety years on this earth passing on November 17, 2021. She is survived by her four children, Lee Wendorf, Karen Paulson (Eric), Ivan Wendorf (Diann) and Rose Espinosa (Eddie) and her sister, Barbara Rummel. In addition, she is survived by her four grandchildren, Janel Olson, Tamara Olson (Scott), Nicole Sellars, and Brandy Wendorf. Esther is also survived by her extended family, Natalie Ogg (Jim), Joshua Wright (Natalie) as well as her fifteen great grandchildren, Holly, Holden, Hadley, Hayden, Heath and Hope (Natalie), Miles and Dominic (Janel) and Paulson, Lillie and Parker (Joshua), Riley (Brandy), Everett (Tamara), Parker, Norah (Nicole). Our mother contributed to and was a part of every holiday and family event; baking pies, cakes, "punkie bars" and a host of other fabulous dishes. She was a kind and caring person who was loved by everyone who met her. She will be enormously missed by all. The family would like to thank the dedicated staff members at Perspectives of Waconia and Hospice Ridgeview for the loving care they have provided our mother. We are forever grateful. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of St Bartholomew at a later date next spring.
