Eva Holmes Obituary Holmes, Eva G. age 93 of Edina and recently Emerald Crest of Minnetonka, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family. Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Carl; parents O.J. and Tilla Sheldon; sister, Orlo Bennett and brother Charles Sheldon. Survived by daughter, Julie Forchay of Minnetonka; son Gary (Mary) Holmes of Wayzata; grandchildren, Michael (Candace) Forchay, Jennifer (Chad) Cribbins, Max, Jake and Kip Holmes, sister and brother-in-law Kay and Gail Morse; great-grandchildren, Camryn Forchay and Cole Cribbins and nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her family and cherished forever. We are holding on to the memories of her wonderful smile. Our sincere appreciation for the loving care Eva received from the entire staff of Emerald Crest and the devoted support from Ridgeview Hospice. A celebration of Evas life will be Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 11 am at Wayzata Community Church Chapel. (1256 Wayzata Blvd) There will be a private interment before the service at Lakewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Ridgeview Hospice.
