Frank Scoma Obituary Scoma, Frank G. Age 67 of Minnetonka, MN and Phoenix, AZ. Died on October 4, 2010 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by mother, Mary Daumen Nelson; brothers, Butch Scoma and Dick Daumen, and sister, Phyllis Barbarino. Survived by life partner and angel of 22 years, Mary Cook, son, Anthony Scoma of Oregon; daughters, Jamie Paltrow of Texas Jamie Scoma of CA and Nikki (Randy) Moen of MN; grandsons, Caleb Scoma, Gilbert Paltrow and Gavin Moen;; brothers, Bill (Rose) and Marvin (Pat) of CA; sister, Peg (Jerry) Cordero, and Nanna Tyson of NY; and many nieces and nephews. Longtime employee of Target Corporation. Frank took pride in family, his friends, and his work. He was a true craftsman, always eager to share his knowledge with those willing to learn. He enjoyed his summers fishing on Round Lake, spending time in Arizona, and sharing stories from his life. A special thank you to Methodist Hospital and Mayo Clinic for the wonderful care provided to Frank these past 18 years. Memorial service Friday October 8 at 6 PM with visitation from 4-6 PM at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E. Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata.
