Gary Cheswick Obituary Cheswick Gary B. Cheswick, age 59, of Minnetrista, passed away September 12, 2005. Preceded in death by twin brother, Terrance. Survived by daughters, Michelle Witte & husband Scott, Raquel Williamson & husband Tyler; son, Terry; grandson, Tyler Edworthy; brothers, Phillip Cheswick & wife Mara, Dan Jongeward & wife Karen; sister, Susan Hinmon & husband Jeff; special friend, Jan; and many other loving relatives and friends. Gary was born December 11, 1945 in Riverside, CA. Served in the Army from 1962-1965 during the Berlin Crisis. He began his 32 year career as a police officer in 1968 with the Minnetrista reserve force and in 1969 became one of six officers with the city of Orono. In 1995 became the Chief of Police for Orono and retired in 2001. Gary was a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend- he will be deeply missed. Funeral service Friday 11 AM at Minnetonka Lutheran Church, 16023 Minnetonka Blvd. Visitation Thursday 5-8 PM at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E. Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata and 1 hour before the service on Friday at church. Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery
