Gary DeSantis Obituary DeSantis, Gary age 59, of Long Lake. Preceded in death by father, Ernest DeSantis and loving wife, Cheryl Sayler DeSantis. Survived by adoring children, Rachel, Michael, Elizabeth, Jason wife, Michele Ericksen DeSantis; step-children, Sam and JJ; mother, Elverna DeSantis; sister, Mary DeSantis, and many loving relatives and friends. Gary was an extraordinary man who touched all who knew him. If you met him once you were a friend of his forever. Although his absence has taken a piece of all our hearts, the memory of his humility and honor will be everlasting. When we look to the lake we will forever see a reflection of a fearless man who showed us all the power of faith, love and compassion. Keep riding, Dadwe love you. Memorial service 4 PM Monday, May 24, 2010 at Wayzata Evangelical Free Church, 705 County Road 101 N., Plymouth. Visitation 5-8 PM Sunday, at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata, and one hour prior to the service at church. Memorials will be directed by the family. Private family interment.
