Geraldine Meehan Obituary Meehan, Geraldine Gerry Age 83, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 13, 2005, at her home, after a four year battle with cancer. Gerry was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy Meehan, in 1980. She will be missed by her family: Sue Nykanen (Carl Nykanen), Greg Meehan, Mary Meehan (Brad Schultz), Jeff Meehan (Joanie Meehan), nine grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Bette Meehan. Gerry was raised in Red Wing, Minnesota graduating from Central High School in 1940 as home coming queen and honor student. An active citizen of Wayzata for many years, Gerry volunteered at St. Bartholomew's School and Church, The Friends of the Wayzata Library, Interfaith Outreach and the Minnetonka Choral Society. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 11:00 AM at The Church of St. Bartholomew, 630 E. Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata. Visitation TONIGHT 5-7 PM at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E.
