Gertrude Moritz Obituary Moritz, Gert M. June 7, 1925 - June 30, 2012. Passed away in Buffalo, MN. Gert is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Moritz Jr. Survived by son, Mike Moritz of Kentucky; daughters, Cheryl (Jack) McClure of North Carolina, and Cindy (Tim) Mans of Corcoran, MN; sister-in-law, Kay (Jim) Wood; grandchildren, Leigh (Jason) Dever, Trista Moritz-Jacquin, Kim McClure, Michael (Amber) Moritz, Lindsay (Matt Kollasa) Mans, Mary Ann (Chan) Waddell, Missy Mans, Donnie Mans; and four great grandchildren. A very special thank you goes out to the caregivers at Sunrise Cottages in Buffalo, MN and Hospice. Gert grew up in Rice, MN and moved to Wayzata in the early 1950's. Gert worked at Hart's Cafe for many years and later at the Foursome. Funeral service will be 11 AM with visitation starting at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, July 3 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 7401 County Road 101 in Maple Grove. Interment at St. George Cemetery in Long Lake.
