Gordon Jones Obituary Jones, Gordon Hubert, age 87 of Wayzata. Professional Engineering graduate of the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology passed away January 11, 2013 of complications from Parkinsons. Preceded in death by his parents, Alice and Emlyn Jones of Mound, Minnesota. Survived by Kaye Kluge Jones, his wife of 62 years and his sister, Janet Edgar of Charlotte, North Carolina. Gordon, who developed a private talent for woodworking, began his mechanical engineering career at Honeywell. He was later a partner at Hamline Construction Company. He was a longtime ardent golfer at Town and Country Club in St. Paul and a challenging sailboat racer with the Apostle Islands Yacht Club in Bayfield, Wisconsin. Gordon was especially pleased to learn of his Tanycastell Pedigree dating back to the 12th Century in Dolwyddelan Wales. Memorial service 11:30 AM Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E.
