Grace Haagensen Obituary Haagenson, Grace (Legaard) Grace passed to our Lord peacefully on February 17, 2006 at the Ambassador Care Center. Grace was born on March 18,1909 in Enderlin, North Dakota to Norwegian homesteaders Gunder and Margaret Legaard. She was baptized and confirmed in Norwegian. Grace was preceded in death by her husband Morris Haagenson in 1971. Later she moved to Golden Valley, MN to be near her family. She enjoyed spending decades of quality time with her family and especially teaching her grandchildren their prayers in Norwegian. Grace always instilled happiness and laughter to all those around her even to her last days. She is survived by her four loving children; Rachel (Channing) Handberg, Charles (Lori), Roger (Diantha), and Margaret (James) Bickling; eight grandchildren, Chan Jr., Heidi (Brian) Hukriede, Paul, Jennifer (Dustin) Ordoff, Eric (Crystal), Ann, Laura (Jody) McConnell, and John; eight great-grandchildren; one brother and sister. Private services will be held at the David Lee Funeral Home in Wayzata. Additional service and interment will be held in Divide County, ND at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Ambassador Care Center.
