Hal Larson Obituary
Larson, Hal J. age 61, of Minnetonka, died on January 27, 2006. Hal was a loving father, grandfather, brother and dear friend to many. He had a wonderful sense of humor and will be missed by all. Preceded in death by his parents, Hal is survived by his two children, Mitchell Larson, (Kristin) of Minnetonka, and Kirsten Larson of New York City; two beautiful grandsons, Haakon Larson and Royal Larson of Minnetonka; sisters, Sara Siegel (Mark Siegel) of Orlando, Florida and Pamela Murphy (Martin Murphy) of Madison, Wisconsin, his brother, John R. Larson (Sandra Larson) of Minneapolis, and many nieces and nephews. Hal was born on June 23, 1943, in Montevideo, Minnesota, the second of four children of Harold and Alice Larson. Following the University of Minnesota, Hal became an exceptional salesman, working with Proctor & Gamble and Advance Machine, prior to a long and successful career as the founder and owner of Larson Sales, Co., a manufacturing representative. He ran Larson Sales Co. until his retirement in 2001. A Memorial Mass will be at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, located at 630 East Wayzata Boulevard in Wayzata. A gathering of family and friends will be held from Wed., 3:00-5:30 PM at The Minikahda Club, 3205 Excelsior Blvd., Minneapolis, (612) 926-1601. Private interment.
