Howard Gruber Obituary Gruber, Howard C. age 88 of Crystal, passed away peacefully October 9, 2008. Native of Minneapolis and graduate of North High. Preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Emma Gruber and son, Ned. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Rita; daughters, Lynn Gruber, Lisa Rye and husband Greg, Gina Goggans and husband John; grandson, Michael Rye; sister-in-law, Jeanne Barron and other loving relatives and friends. He was a long time employee of Northwestern Bell Telephone and a CWA Union Steward. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am at The Parish Community of St. Joseph, 8701 36th Ave. N., New Hope. Visitation one hour prior to the mass at church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the University of Minnesota Heart Hospital.
