Howard Wedelstaedt Obituary Wedelstaedt, Howard 79, of Wayzata, died Sunday, February 18, 2007 at Hillcrest of Wayzata. He was born July 23, 1927 in Chicago, IL. He married the former Margaret Sabie on December 15, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois. Howard graduated from the University of Illinois- Chicago with a degree in Business Administration. Most of his professional career was spent in purchasing functions aligned with the chemical industry. Upon retirement, Howard and Marge moved from Wheaton, IL to Minnesota (Brainerd, Plymouth, most recently Minnetonka). Howard's hobbies included travel (especially Latin America), stamp collecting and photography. Howard is survived by his loving wife, Margaret, children, Catherine (James Godschalx) of Midland, MI, Elizabeth (Richard Drews) of Chicago, IL, Howard of Chicago, IL, Henry (William McCollough) of Seattle WA, Barbara Cappaert (Steven) of Des Moines, IA and Nancy of Brookfield, WI. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Michael Godschalx, Claire Cappaert and Peter Cappaert. He was preceded in death by his brother, Henry Wedelstaedt and sister, Barbara Wedelstaedt Mark. A private interment will be held at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis. There will be no visitation or services.
