Irving MacDonald Obituary MacDonald, Irving "Irv" 65, passed away in his home May 22, 2016 surroun-ded by love and prayers. He was preceded in death by his father Dr. John Walker MacDonald and mother Emmy-Lou MacDonald. He was the proud father of John MacDonald and Mimi Scanlon (Wade). Irv's grandchildren Toby Lutsen Scanlon, Emily Virginia-Rose Scanlon, Daisy Grace Scanlon, and Linnea Luck Scanlon brought him great joy. He is also survived by his sister Leslie MacDonald and brother Buchan MacDonald. He graduated from Blake School, Cornell College and Washington and Lee School of Law. Irv's high ethics shone through in his legal profession. Irv was born with a quick wit, a sense of humor and a brain wired for law. He loved Lake Superior's North Shore, wildlife, and analyzing problems. Private services have been held. Memorials preferred to Camp Warren, 30 South 9th St., Minneapolis, MN 55402.
