Jack Mathiasen Obituary Age 79, of Alexandria, MN passed away November 27, 2017. Survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mary Kay; son John (Shena) Mathiasen; daughter Molly (Brian) Carlson; grandchildren Riley and Cabot Mathiasen; Maddie and Jack Carlson; brother Bill (Kathy) Schoener; sister-in-law Joyce Williams; niece Katie Williams; nephew Mike Williams. Preceded in death by parents Roy Mathiasen and Eleanor Dobis; brothers-in-law Bill and Dick Williams. Jack golfed his way through St. Paul Central High School and Macalester College. He spent his 35 year career as a sales manager for 3M Company, TCM division. Jack was an avid golfer whose love of the game was only exceeded by his love for his family and friends. Jacks compassionate spirit and zest for life lives on in those who knew him. Funeral service Monday December 4, 11am at Wayzata Community Church, 125 E Wayzata Blvd in Wayzata.
