James Gossen Obituary James Arnold Gossen, age 83, passed on December 15, 2021 in Maple Grove, MN. Jim is survived by his brother, Richard (Louise); his daughter, Carmen Preston; his sons, Steve (Renee), Jeff (Caroline); his grandchildren, Kelsey (Michael), Taylor (Elizabeth), Sarah, David (Aimee), Luke (Dani), Hannah (Perry), Melissa (Trevor), Jack, and great-grandchildren, Jaelynn, Perry, and Preston. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia; parents, Louis and Gladys Gossen; brothers, Dale and Donald, and great-granddaughter, Perris. Jim was born on August 25, 1938 in Milaca, MN. He married Sylvia in November 1958. While living in Blaine, MN, Jim had a successful career in banking and retired from Norwest Bank in 1993. Jim and Sylvia enjoyed their retirement years splitting their time between Northome, MN and Boca Grande, FL. In MN, they enjoyed hunting, fishing, and their beautiful property. In FL, they enjoyed fishing, combing the beaches for seashells, and socializing with their many friends. Jim will be deeply missed at his hunting camp which he founded with friends 67 years ago. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in memory of James on Tuesday, December 28th at 11:00 AM at St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church 7180 Hemlock Lane North, Maple Grove, MN 55369. The service will be livestreamed and can be viewed on the church website or here at this link. https://youtu.be/J_hMPYn8ceI Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A luncheon reception will follow mass. The family would like to thank the BeeHive for their loving care.
