James Zink Obituary Zink, James Randall of Minneapolis. April 14, 1956-April 1, 2013. Jim was a passionate, exuberant, irreverent lover of life. He found his niche in the computer industry and worked for the last 10 years with Symmetry Solutions. He firmly believed that the products he sold would enhance the quality, efficiency and profitability of his customers businesses. A consummate liberal and an avid reader and researcher, Jim could spend hours discussing and arguing about how to make this country better for all people. Jim was dearly loved by his big family and he dearly loved them back. Children delighted him. Dogs and cats delighted him. He loved his home and his neighborhood. He reveled in the beauty of this earth. Preceded in death by his father Victor Zink; sister, Sue Ellen Little and sister-in-law, Melanie Zink. Survived by mother Doris Zink Wood and her husband Richard Wood; brother, Darrell Zink; sister, Vicki Thompson and husband Peter; brother, David Zink and Susan Brown; brother, John Zink, nieces and nephews, Shelley, Eric, Jenna, George, and Maeve Perkins, Jenna, Josh, Peter, James, and Charlie Elving, James, Cara, Nicholas, Sydney and Hailey Thompson, Leslie Little, Tim, Taylor and Aiden Turner, Jeff, Kailyn, Mariah and Nathan Little and Tiffany Zink; friend, Lyle Kohlhepp as well as many other loving relatives and friends. Memorial service 3 PM Friday, April 5, 2013 at Wayzata Community Church, 125 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata.
