Jane and Ross were married in a chapel at the National Cathedral in Washington D.C. on December 18, 1943, just days before Ross went off for service abroad with the Navy. Jane was a member of Lions Clubs Int'l, having belonged to the Independence Lions Club and the Champlin Lions Club. Above all else, Jane cherished her family time. Sunday nights were always a special time when the family all gathered for dinner at grandma and grandpa's home. Jane was a breast cancer survivor, a corneal transplant recipient and lived for 34 years as a Type 2 Diabetic. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross. She is loved and will be dearly missed by her daughter, Vicki; sons, Ross & wife Lynda, Thomas & wife Jamie, and Scott; grandchildren, Alexis & Ashley; adopted daughter, Janet Snyder; sister, Virginia Helber & husband Ken; her nieces, and her very good friend, Marion Hayes. A Celebration of Jane's life will be held at 11 AM Saturday with a gathering of family and friends 5-8 PM Friday (TONIGHT), all at David Lee Funeral Home. Memorials preferred to MN Lions Eye Bank or The Rotary Foundation. She loved her family very much. She will be greatly missed by all of us. David Lee Funeral Home Wayzata 952-473-5577
