Jennifer Eaton Obituary Jennifer Jane Eaton (Johnston), 57, of Orono, MN, passed away at home on August 29, surrounded by her family. Her brief and courageous struggle with a rare, aggressive cancer did not squash her vibrant personality as she continued to tell many good stories even in her last days. Born on Valentines Day, 1961, to Larry and Marlys Johnston of Maple Grove, she attended Osseo schools and the University of MN, where she met her future husband, Robert Eaton, whom she married on Dec 10, 1982. In addition to Bob, Jennifer is survived by daughter Megan and son-in-law Chris Arendt; daughter Kirsten; brother, Stephen Johnston, his wife Kathie, their children Tyler and Devin; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; and a wide network of friends. There will be a memorial service at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 County Road 6, Plymouth, MN 55447, 763-475-7100, on Friday September 7th at 11:00 AM, with a visitation one hour immediately preceding the service. Donations can be sent to the family for the organization Bob and Jennifer helped found, Jennifers Garden, a volunteer program to create outdoor sanctuaries for those in need.
