Jerika Valkenburg Obituary Van Valkenburg, Jerika E. Age 26, of Westminster, Colorado, unexpectedly passed away in her sleep on July 28, 2015. Survived by: parents, James and June Van Valkenburg of Minnetonka; sisters, Jocelyn (Van Valkenburg) Sweeney of Plymouth and Joelle Van Valkenburg of Minnetonka; brother-in-law Joseph Brent Sweeney; grandparents Romanzo and Evelyn Duncklee of Emerado, ND; nineteen aunts and uncles: Twenty-three first cousins. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Raynor and Pauline Van Valkenburg of Tecumseh, MI. Jerika had a heart for God and for others. She enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. She loved to run, exercise, hike in the mountains, her job with Lifetime Fitness helping plan races, relaxing at the cabin up north, and spending time with friends and family. Visitation will be from 5:00 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 6, 2015 and the funeral service on Friday, 11:00 AM, August 7 2015, all at Wayzata Free Church, 705 County Rd 101, Plymouth, MN 55447.
