Joan O'Brien Obituary Age 88, of Plymouth, MN went to be with the Lord June 25, 2021. Joan had a strong faith in God and was an active member of her church. She had a deep love for family and enjoyed spending countless hours researching her genealogy. Joans passion for genealogy led her in travels to Finland & Sweden, meeting one of her cousins. She also visited various homesteads & areas where her ancestors once lived. Preceded in death by beloved husband, Richard OBrien; parents, Emanuel and Sadie Hagel. She will be greatly missed by: daughter, Cheryl (Edward) Puumala; son, Gregory OBrien; granddaughters, Kristen, Jennifer, Natalie and Tiffany (Nathan); great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Lokie, Lexie, Kaleb and Douglas; brother, Robert (Carol) Hagel; many other dear relatives and friends. Funeral service 1:30 PM Saturday, July 10 at Plymouth Lutheran Church, 11015 Old County Rd. 15. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment Lakewood Cemetery, Mpls.
