Joann Flatten Obituary Flatten, Joann "Jo" Born September 18, 1936 and died June 10, 2013. Preceded in death by parents, Irwin and Mary Mix; father-in-law, Darvin Flatten; and son, David Hinton. Survived by husband of 41 years, Skip; daughter, Victoria (Chester) Milosovich; sons, Mike (Peggy) Hinton, Tom (Denise) Hinton; 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Christine Flatten; brother, Richard (Carol) Mix; 3 nieces; extended families from Children's Hospital and Christ Lutheran Church. Jo worked at Children's Hospital for 25 years in the NICU and ICU units. She was a cancer survivor of 42 years. Funeral service Saturday June 15, 11 AM at Christ Lutheran Church, 5084 Main Street East, Maple Plain. Visitation Friday 5-7 PM AT THE CHURCH and one hour prior to service Saturday.
