JoAnne Sisk Obituary JoAnne Marie Sisk (Gates), 77 of Plymouth, MN passed unexpectedly in her home on October 13th, 2021. JoAnne was born in Chicago, Illinois to Francis and Antoinette Gates, the oldest of two girls. She graduated from Notre Dame High School for Girls in 1962. At a co-ed dance with Saint Patrick High School, she met her future husband, Jerry Sisk. They married September 11, 1965 and began their story. JoAnne was a great mother and kept the family household in line. She joined Jerry to work at the family Burger King restaurants and was known for giving treats to the dogs coming through the drive-thru lane. JoAnne loved to bowl, decorate for each holiday and spoil her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, her son Jonathan and parents. She is survived by her sister Donna Singer (Ron), children Tammy McCanna, Jeff (Carrie), Jerilyn Weiler, Jerry (Cheri), Jason, nieces, nephews, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus, 155 County Road 24 in Medina, MN at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 21st with visitation at 10 am. Burial will be at Holy Name of Jesus cemetery following the Mass. Guests are encouraged to wear their best Easter bonnet or hat in her memory.
