John Dorfer Obituary Dorfer John K. Jack"", age 62 of Wayzata, passed away September 10, 2005. Preceded in death by his parents, John J. & Ella. Jack owned and operated the Wayzata Lawnmower Shop in Wayzata for over 30 years, and was a proud member of the Wayzata Volunteer Fire Dept. for 40 years. He was a loving father, grandfather and husband. The collection of stories, memories and artifacts of his life will remain in the hearts and minds of his family and friends forever. Survived by daughter, Kelly Heide & husband Craig, and grandsons, Keaton and Camden; and daughter, Michelle; Jack's wife, Marlys; sisters, Barbara Paetzel & husband Roger, Sharon Moe & husband Harold, and Marlys Ann; many nieces and nephews. Funeral service Wednesday 11 AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 115 Wayzata Blvd. W. in Wayzata, with visitation Tuesday 5-8 PM at David Lee Funeral Home in Wayzata, and also 1 hour prior to service at church. Private family interment Greenlawn Cemetery, Wayzata. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
