John Esslinger Obituary Esslinger John Esslinger, WWII veteran, passed away August 10, 2005 at age 84. A longtime resident of Wayzata, John could often be spotted on his 3 mile daily walks, stopping for coffee, or just chatting with the locals. He is loved and will be dearly missed by his wife Gladys; daughters, Jane (Jay) Bunting, Mary Ellen (Ray) Reynolds, Patricia Ionides; several grandchildren; brother, Karl (Teresa); numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. Funeral service 2 PM Sunday at David Lee Funeral Home in Wayzata. Interment Summit Park Cemetery, Wayzata
