John Friedmeyer III Obituary Friedmeyer III, John Frederick of Plymouth, MN, born 12/2/1940 in Des Moines, IA, died 5/18/2019. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Bonnie (West) Friedmeyer; son, John Friedmeyer IV (Julia Matthews); daughters, Anita Friedmeyer (Dan Vacek) and Wendy Friedmeyer (Mike Maybay); 5 grandchildren, John Friedmeyer V (Denise), Joseph Friedmeyer (Mary), Molly Aung (LaMin), Alice Friedmeyer Vacek, and Matthew Friedmeyer-Rager (Alice Wienke); great-grandchild, Hans Friedmeyer, and extended Minnesota family; niece, Michelle Pittman (Anthony Pyatt), and nephew Doug Pittman (Janice Beck). John is also survived by his very much loved sister, Linda Johnson (Terry); brother-in-law, Phil Pittman; nephews, Mike, Chris, Scott, and Jeff; grand-nieces and nephews and many friends. It is impossible in this short space to adequately share the impact he had on us all and what a kind, loving, and generous person he was. He will be missed by all those whose lives hes touched. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held 5/22/19, from 6-8 PM at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, 5/23/2019 at Plymouth Presbyterian Church, 3755 Dunkirk Lane, Plymouth with a gathering one hour prior to the service.
