John Headlee Obituary Headlee, Dr. John Doyle Age 62, of Rockford, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 18th, 2009. Survived by wife, Paulette Speed; parents, Boyd & Cecelia; sons, Stephen (Michelle) & Scott (Cherice); their mother, Sandra (Bob) Maas; siblings, Tom (Doreen), Kenneth, Beth Ann (Charles) Otto, Paul (Susie), Delores (Pat) Tomzik; grandchildren, Jessica & Michael; many other relatives and friends. A life long educator, John guided students at Gaylord, Cooper, Rockford, St. Louis Park, and Bais Yaakov High Schools, and St. Mary's Univ. He enlisted in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was an avid outdoorsman and collector. Funeral service on Tuesday, December 22, 2 pm at Wayzata Community Church, 125 E. Wayzata Blvd., visitation one hour prior to service at the church. Interment at Fort Snelling.
