John Hennessy Obituary (April 17, 1923 March 30, 2011) Jack and his wife, Priscilla Adams Hennessy, are together again! Jack passed away peacefully, knowing that Priscilla would be waiting "at the gate." Now, Jacks "up there," too. He was a lifelong resident of Wayzata, Minnesota, and always loved sailing on Lake Minnetonka. He grew up playing with his sister (Pat) and brother (Gerry) on the north shore of Wayzata Bay. Later, he married Priscilla and they moved to the south shore of Wayzata Bay, where they raised their daughters (Betsy and Peggy). Jack was a soft spoken man of intellect who always had a sparkle in his eye. He had an uncanny skill of listening to others in a way that made them feel as though whatever they said was truly important. Jack loved his family, friends, sailing, music, books, and anything French. Jack is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth (aka Betsy) of Amesbury, Massachusetts, his daughter, Peggy (and her husband Rick Horton) of Portland, Oregon, and his two grandsons, Chris and Michael Horton, who will miss their "Grandpre." A memorial service and celebration of Jacks life is planned for what would have been his 88th birthday: April 17, 2011 at 2:30pm at Meridian Manor, 163 Wayzata Boulevard West, Wayzata, Minnesota.
