John Hodowanic Obituary Hodowanic, John L. age 86 of Wayzata born January 24, 1930; died August 24, 2016. Preceded in death by wife, Theresa "Pidge"; brothers, Wayne and Gene and parents, John and Mayme. Survived by sons, Mark (Lara) and Keith; grandchildren, Alexa, Scott, Paul and Ian; sister, Dori Soroe; mother of his children, Adrienne "Bunny" Davis as well as other loving relatives and friends. John served in the U.S. Navy 1948-1952, attended Northwestern University; established radio station KMSU, Mankato State College, Editor of Twin Cities Magazine, Public Relations Director at the Science Museum of Minnesota, President of World Press Institute and Chairman of the Minnesota Press Club. Funeral service 11 AM Monday, August 29, 2016 at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 County Road 6, Plymouth with visitation one hour prior to the service at church.
