John ''Jack'' Joseph Jaruszewski Jr., of Minnetonka, MN, passed peacefully away on November 29, 2025. Jack was born on July 15, 1941, in Minneapolis, MN, to parents John and Louise (Scheffler) Jaruszewski. Jack dedicated more than 30 years to public service, with the U.S. Navy and working in both Law Enforcement and Corrections.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife of 45 years, Juli. He is survived by his children John (Gina) Jaruszewski, Joyce (Butch Bader) Swanson-Bader, James (Kathy Deters) Jaruszewski, Joseph (Julie) Jaruszewski, and Mary (Dave) Dewey.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Michael Swanson, Martina, Elena, and Juliana Jaruszewski, and Craig Tierney; great-grandchildren, Drexton Sigler and Kayla (Tyler) Casey; and great-great-grandchildren, Kailey and Christopher. Jack is further survived by his siblings, Mark (Mary) Jaruszewski and Ann Lawson, as well as many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 630 Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata, MN 55391. Visitation: 9:30-10:30 a.m. Service: 10:30 a.m. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
