John 'Jack' Mayer Obituary Mayer, John "Jack" Dwight age 94 of Minnetonka, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away Oct. 23, 2023. Preceded in death by his beautiful wife of 67 years Betty, a grandson, parents H.C. Mayer and Louella Grandberg, and brother Donald Mayer. Survived by five daughters, Anita (Paul) Stewart, Annette (Russ) Keppel, Denise "Dedi" (Pat) Wurm, Amy (Jon) Peterson, Paula (Dave) Beaner; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; brother David (Jane) Mayer, and other loving relatives and friends. Jack grew up in Wayzata and was a Korean War veteran. He volunteered many years at North Memorial Hospital and his churches. Visitation Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. and Memorial Service Friday, Nov. 10, 2023 at 1 p.m. at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 East Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata.
