John Murphy Obituary Murphy, John Patrick John was 88 years old when he died on December 20, 2017 as the result of an ongoing fight with prostate cancer. In his final days he was surrounded by the love of his family and he passed peacefully. John was born July 1, 1929. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Elouise and his wife Kate who passed in 2008 after 57 years of marriage. He is survived by his six sons Tim (Bette), Tom (Linda), Pat (Sherrie), Sean, Brendan and Shane (Mary), 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and his brother Eugene. Funeral services to be held January 19, 2018 at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 105 Forestview Lane N., Plymouth MN. Visitation at 9:30, Mass at 10:30, lunch to follow at the church.
