Joseph Foty Obituary went home to be with his Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, on February 15, 2011, at 95 years of age. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruth Evelyn Foty, and by his parents, Giuseppe and Pierina Barbera Foty from Milazzo, Sicily; also, two sisters and one brother. Survived by seven children, Patty (Bryce) Krohn, Ruthie (Bob) Peterson, Joanne (Don) Frost, Mary (Jeff) Jefferson, Carolyn (Dan) King, Debbie (Pete) Swenson, Tom (Wendy) Foty; 24 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Also, survived by two sisters and four brothers, many nieces and nephews. Celebration of his life Saturday, February 19, 11:00 a.m. at Ridgewood Church, 4420 Highway 101, Minnetonka. Visitation, Friday, February 18, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata, and one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.
