Junell Wingate Obituary Wingate, Junell Ann, September 7, 1935-August 26, 2022. Daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandma, friend to many, finished her life journey, and left for her heavenly abode on Friday, August 26th from a recurrence with cancer. Born in Kansas and Minnesota resident since 1973. Preceded in death by her husband, James Wingate; parents, Lowell and Leona Denniston, and brother, Gary Denniston. Survived by children, Mark (Gail) Sisk, Malea (Doug) Hayhurst, Jeff (Jill) Sisk, Rhonda (Brad) Johnson, and Andrea Wingate. Her grandchildren, David (Michelle) Denniston, Courtney (Michael) Yilek, Allison (Nicholaus) Bellomy, J (Yennhi) Sisk, Madison Sisk, Molly Sisk, Emma Sisk, Ben Johnson, Emily (Matt) Boss and seven great-grandchildren. A private immediate family celebration of her life will be held. A service will also be held in Kansas, her birthplace, Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Noon at Chinas Bar and Grill, 127 North Main Street, Cheney, Kansas. She will be interred with her husband of 49 years, James Wingate at Fort Snelling and with her father, brother and extended family in Kansas.
