Karen Bunsness Obituary Karen Bunsness was born August 3rd, 1943 in Aberdeen SD. She was the oldest of 4 children born to Joseph and Mary Bunsness. Karen attended St. Cloud State College and Alexandria Technical College earning her a nursing degree. She practiced at hospitals in Buffalo, Northfield, Minneapolis and Santa Anna California before returning to Minnesota and Park Nicollet Clinic. Karen was a humble, gentle and caring individual that provided tireless caregiving to her family, relatives and friends. She was proud of her Norweigian and Romanian heritage and collected volumes of research of the families sharing it with anyone willing to listen and learn. She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Mary, sisters Karel and Shareene. She is survived by her brother Joe of Wayzata, wife Kellye and nephews Josef, Marcus, Christopher, John and Dan. Remembrance service 2PM Friday June 28 at David Lee Funeral Home in Wayzata Interment at Scandinavia Lutheran Church Cemetery on Tuesday July 2, at 11:00am in Aberdeen, SD
