Kevin Shields Obituary Kevin John Shields Shields, Kevin John, 55, passed away unexpectedly on April 25, 2022. Kevin was born June 23, 1966 in St. Louis, Mo., to Dr. John and Audrey (Voss) Shields. He earned his B.A. at Marquette University and his M.S. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Kevin is survived by his wife Deb; children Noah and Hannah; brother Edward; parents-in-law Ruben and Angie Cevallos; sister-in-law Michelle (Pete) Lopez; and nephews Ryan Garcia and Adrian Martinez. He was preceded in death by his parents. A well-read, insightful intellectual with expansive and creative ideas, Kevin enjoyed his work as an analyst at several investment firms through his career. Kevin was always up for a good glass of wine, lively debate, a competitive game of cards, and spending time with loved ones, especially soaking up some warm California sunshine with the kids. A celebration of Kevins life will be held June 16th at St. Therese Church of Deephaven; visitation will start at 3 p.m., with Mass commencing at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Kevins name to either of the following foundations, both of which support children in need: My Stuff Bags Foundation (mystuffbags.org) or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (www.jdrf.org).
