Leonard Len Dugan Obituary On the evening of August 27, 2024, Len Dugan passed away peacefully at the age of 81. He is survived by his children: Mindy (Kevin), Patrick, and Angela; and grandchildren: Joesy, Lensy (his namesake), Luci, and Flynn. Len was preceded in death by the love of his life, Barbara; son, Leonard; parents, Dale and Yolanda; and siblings, Veronica and Dale. Len was an avid outdoorsman who cherished hunting, fishing, and golf trips with his son, Pat, his son-in-law, Kevin, and other dear friends and family. Len started his career in sales, becoming an owner of an auto glass company and most recently working for City Auto Glass as a salesman for the last 20+ years. His clients became lifelong friends, a testament to his fun-loving spirit. A longtime member of the Wayzata American Legion and Hopkins Elks Lodge, Len was known by all for his vibrant personality, storytelling, cooking Italian family recipes, and telling jokes around the campfire. Lens love of laughter defined him; his greatest joy came from brightening others lives with his humor. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 10, at St. Georges Church, 133 N. Brown Road, Long Lake, MN, beginning at 11:00 a.m., with a one-hour visitation prior to the service starting at 10:00 a.m. Following the service, a luncheon at the church and celebration of life will take place at the Wayzata American Legion, 949 Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata, MN at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Hopkins Elks Lodge #2221 and the Wayzata American Legion Post 118.
