Lois Muyres Obituary Muyres, Lois Ann age 89. A beautiful, gentle, loving spirit. Loiss faith and life rested in God and her love was in her family and friends. Lois was born on April 18, 1935 in St. Cloud, MN and left this earth on October 4, 2024. She resided in Wayzata, MN for 51 years. Preceded in death by her parents, Aloy and Ann Kritzeck, brother, James Kritzeck and husband of 58 years, Marvin Muyres. Survived by daughters, Jennifer Palmer (Mitchell) and Julie McBride (Jayme) and grandchildren, Nicholas and Benjamin (Palmer) and Riley, Brady and Casey (McBride). Lois graduated from Cathedral High School and St. Cloud State University. She met Marvin and they married in 1961 and had a strong and faith-filled marriage. She taught Kindergarten for 30 years and finished her career at St. Hubert in Chanhassen. She touched the hearts of many students through her passion for teaching. She was a loving wife, mother and "Grammy/Nana." She had a love of classical music and the arts. She enjoyed going to the movies with her daughters and attending her grandsons sporting events, concerts and plays. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 2024 at the Church of St. Bartholomew, 630 East Wayzata Boulevard, Wayzata with visitation one hour prior to Mass at church. Private family Christian Burial at St. Johns University. In lieu of flowers, Memorials preferred to St. Bartholomew Church.
